Overall, the booking process was smooth, the vehicles were clean, spacious, and comfortably accommodated all 9 passengers along with 9 large suitcases, which was exactly what we needed. The pricing was reasonable for longer journeys, but I did find it quite expensive for shorter trips. For example, our transfer from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Changi Airport, which took only about 10 minutes, was charged almost the same as much longer transfers. A more distance-based pricing structure for short rides would be appreciated. Our drivers, Mr. Dave and Mr. Stanley, were punctual and got us safely to our destinations. However, we felt that their interactions could have been warmer and more customer-oriented. At times they came across as a little abrupt, and considering the premium pricing of the service, we had expected a more welcoming and polished customer experience. Interestingly, on one occasion we used Grab for a transfer at a lower cost and found the driver to be more engaging and service-oriented. That said, MaxiCab's biggest advantage remains its spacious vehicles and reliability for large groups with significant luggage.”
